A Tiny Review of TinyGrab

When I want to show off some work on my screen to someone else (usually over IM), my workflow for doing so originally consisted of (on my “Mac”):

1. Hit Command + Shift + 4.
2. Copy generated image from desktop to public folder within my Dropbox folder.
3. Right-click the file and copy the public link.
4. Paste link into IM client.

Then I got TinyGrab from the MacHeist bundle. Now my workflow works like this:

1. Hit Command + Shift + 4.
2. Wait a second, then paste link into IM client.

Unless TinyGrab had a built-in screenshot plugin for Adium that saved me from having to paste a link, I don’t see how this could be any simpler. This is a terrific program, and it’s free for the next 5-6 days at MacHeist. It also has a Windows version in beta that works just as fantastically. Get it now!
