A question for InDesign Users

Is there any way to get smoother scrolling? When I scroll in InDesign, it’s nearly impossible to slowly move the document - it either flies off in that direction, or stays fixed, depending on what I’m doing. Is being able to make minute adjustments with the scroll wheel too much to ask?
